Love Island hit the screens again last night for another 8 week shagathon. Who is the initial favourite? Who do we like? And, most importantly, who do we or what did we dislike?
What did twitter think of the Islanders?
Yewande, with both brains and beauty, was the most tweeted about Islander, with 7,313 different users tweeting about her. These tweets were very positive, could she be an early favourite to win this year?
Sadly for Amber, the second most tweeted about Islander, things were not quite so positive; with the public anticipating that she will be trouble, disliking that she referred to herself as a diva and was savage to poor Callum. Time will tell.
Although not a trending Islander we also looked into the response to Anton. Come on, we were all surprised he wasn’t one of the most tweeted about. As expected these were particularly negative, with 90% of tweets about him having a negative sentiment.
Twitter did not respond well to Anton trying to turn Lucie’s eyes away from poor Joe and everyone seems very protective towards Amy. Some drawing similarities between her and, 2018 Love Island finalist, Laura Anderson.
Not surprisingly, as Tommy Fury entered the villa there was a surge in tweets, particularly from female tweeters, with

being the most used emojis… I wonder why?
Finally, bev? bevy? Is it going to catch on? …. Blurrt thinks not.
