#EURef: In? Out? Shake It All About

June 7, 2016 — by

Here at Blurrt we were incredibly chuffed to be asked by Twitter UK and The Press Association to collaborate on a new set of tools that would enable people to track how the EU referendum is being discussed live across Twitter.

The #EURef Data Hub is a partnership between the Press Association and Twitter which is designed to allow anyone to monitor in real-time how the big issues and high profile campaigners are driving discussion.

Check it out here.

Throughout the remaining four weeks of the campaign you will be able to use the #EURef Data Hub to keep an eye on a range of different conversational points; from which campaign has the larger chunk of conversation to seeing who is being talked about more out of David Cameron and Boris Johnson – It’s like Ali vs Foreman all over again!

You can also click on different timescales to see how the conversation has shifted in the last 24 hours, the last week and throughout the entire duration of the campaigns as well as seeing how people are feeling on a range of key topic areas.

We’ve had a blast working with two of the most widely respected names in the world of online conversation and love the fact that now even more people get to see our sentiment analysis working in real-time!

A more serious release with some rather nice quotes about the project from Twitter & PA can be downloaded here.
