Blurrt Fantasy Football – Update 1

June 15, 2016 — by

So we’ve just finished the first round of group games at Euro 2016.

France only just managed to get 3 points with a late screamer against Romania.
England dominated but could only scrape a draw, whilst Wales earned themselves 3 points to top group B.
Germany showed why they’re world champions, whilst Italy completely shut up critics and shut down Belgium to comfortably win 2-0. Portugal disappointed against Iceland and Spain were lucky to get a 1-0 win against Czech Republic.

But who’s topping the table after this first round?

It’s the STINKY DONKEYS! A very strong start, sending a message out to everyone one else that even when 3 of your players score 0, you can still make up for it with clever picks.

Greg’s TROPICAL FISHES in second place is a good example of a team that doesn’t rely on one or two players, as all of his squad scored well.

Joe’s IVORY TOAST are joint 3rd with the FANTASTIC FOOTBALLERS, a team who had Vardy and Rashford up front, both who didn’t play!

Bottom of the table is Tom’s HASHTAG WINNING. Unfortunately there is no wooden spoon for coming last in this competition, just ridicule and shame.

However, there’s still plenty more games to go and we’re likely to see some big changes in the league this week so these places don’t mean too much at this early stage.
