Startup Autobahn Offers Exciting Prospects

February 28, 2018 — by

Blurrt were lucky to be offered the opportunity to present at Startup Autobahn yesterday, an event bringing the best Startups together with some of the top names in the automotive industry. CEO Joe gave an enticing presentation which received plenty of praise from other attendees who came to our stand afterwards and it’s safe to say we look forward to following up on the leads and conversations that we had over the course of the last 2 days.

Day 1 saw Blurrt attend the Expo Day

Monday means Expo Day at Startup Autobahn, and a trip to Arena 2036 at Stuttgart University for us. Keynote speeches and presentations by the startups chosen for the previous program were combined with a networking opportunity, allowing us to get to know the successful ideas, the people behind them and their recipe for success. The startups involved in Expo Day ranged in size from 2 employees right up to 300, underlining the potential growth opportunities for successful projects, whilst the success of “What 3 Words” demonstrated how much can be achieved under the guidance of some of the major corporations and brands involved.

Day 2 was our time to shine. Joe gave his well received presentation to a room full of some great and important minds from the automotive industry (and me!) and then we were able to take part in a couple of intriguing meetings which helped us to develop further interest in Blurrt and will hopefully lead to some exciting opportunities in the future.

Blurrt’s social media analysis stood out from the pack as being relevant to all of the major brands involved in one way or another. Whether it was our sentiment and emotion analysis helping to understand the conversation surrounding a marketing campaign or a product launch, or the use of tribes to better understand the interests of those who buy your products, Blurrt’s potential use cases and the applicability of our project ideas were clear to everyone who talked to us.

We hope to be involved in more of Plug and Play’s startup events in the coming months, so keep an eye out for us and don’t forget to get in contact if you have any questions!
