With England’s fate already decided before the game against Costa Rica, a key area of discussion amongst fans seems to be the prospect of the national side’s future. The Wordle for this search contains a lot of player names including the likes of Jack Wilshere, Phil Jones, Ross Barkley, etc, with the future of the England team no doubt in question in the user’s tweets. Older players can also be seen with Frank Lampard and Steven Gerrard considering retirement, their personal future is in question.
With the future of the national side much in doubt, fans seem very much divided into how the team will fare in the coming years.
