What now for England?

With England’s fate already decided before the game against Costa Rica, a key area of discussion amongst fans seems to be the prospect of the national side’s future. Hodgson used the team’s final game in the tournament to experiment and bring in some fresh faced youth players – 6 of the starting 11 were under 25 years old.

With the question of England’s future in mind, the search term “future” was entered into Blurrt in the England v Costa Rica campaign. This retrieved a total of 2.09k tweets, with 60% of these being from male accounts.
