Blurrt have just returned from a jam-packed 4 days spent at the IBC exhibition in Amsterdam.

The event brought together all of the world’s most exciting broadcast technologies in one place and was the perfect environment to showcase some of our exciting new developments in the world of Social Storytelling.

At the IBC we were able to demo examples of our recent technology integration with Vizrt, a company responsible for some of the leading story production tools currently available on the market.

Specific demonstrations included our unique ability to understand how people are reacting around football, with an example of an individual player as well as a wider ‘Best XI’ from a recent game, selected by the clever new metric that is the soon-to-be-launched Blurrt Score.

We also showed how it is possible to drill down into large amounts of social data, demonstrating this using live specific emotion bearing tweets for Donald Trump and Hilary Clinton, as well as comparing wider sentiment expressed around the two presidential candidates.

The IBC allowed Blurrt to show our unique ability to analyse and understand social data within a broadcast environment, facilitating both content creation and new editorial angles.
