Blurrt announces £500,000 fund raising round through Seedrs

Blurrt, the Newport based company specialising in finding and analyising comments and sentiments on Twitter and other social media are launching a fund raising round of £500,000 to fund further growth.

Jason Smith, CEO commented  “Today marks a very exciting milestone in the history of Blurrt – we’re delighted to announce the launch of our very first crowdfunding campaign with Seedrs. We’re seeking to raise £500,000 to help accelerate our growth plans, recruit a sales and marketing team and explore overseas markets.”

He went on “Since our launch in 2013 we have achieved notable successes in our target markets, including being the first to broadcast live Twitter reaction to a political debate in the UK. We’ve also worked with BBC3, BBC Wales, S4C, ITV Wales & the Welsh Government. We are currently working with Welsh broadcasters on the Rugby World Cup & with brands such as Go Compare”.
